I was severely bitten on the thumb by a large breed Portuguese Water Spaniel
approximately four weeks ago.  In the past 34 years as a practicing
veterinarian I have been bitten (and scratched) by many, many dogs and cats.
I have taken many regimes of antibiotics (usually Augmentin) for these bite
infections.

I started (rather dubiously) taking AFA 2 months ago.  I decided
not to take antibiotics after the most recent bite. 

Here is a picture of my thumb one month post bite!!

It works!!
